TOGETHER WE WILL TAKE BACK AMERICA

IS ONE NEEDED?

It goes without saying, this writer feels it is needed, or he would not be spending his time and money on the project.  However one individual has little strength against the mighty government of Washington or for that matter city hall.  It would also be very difficult to hold a joint meeting, with enough voters to make a change.  This is why I am using this method to spread the idea, which will find enough people to make a change.  Once the movement begins to grow, there may be a better way found to accomplish our goal.  Great, but keep in mind that a sweeping change in all offices which are on the ballot must be made in one election.

Years ago I wrote a series of articles for a friend who had a small newspaper.  They were called “Just A Ripple” by J. A. Pebble. For personal reasons at the time, I preferred to do this under a pen name.  We both thought, it would be OK.  However after the first article was printed the publisher received a call, from Town Hall, demanding to know who J. A. Pebble was and he explained, he had promised not to disclose him.  After the second article the publisher was visited by his liability insurance agent and informed that if he would not publicly disclose who J. A. Pebble was; his insurance fee would need to be  increased.   This was the initial shock that proved, what I had been hearing for some years.  Most who are in power, will do every-thing they can to stay in power.  In this case the article “Opener” was the second one, as I wrote the first one supporting the Town in their wish for the citizens to vote, their approval for the Town Hall to have home rule.  However I did challenge the Town Fathers to act like a father and show their citizens a good example, by setting some of the finances aside for a rainy day.  How that or the Opener would frighten them I don’t know, but it must have.  In any event I thanked Dave and he thanked me; but we decided not to print any more articles.

If you care too, you can read the articles by clicking on “Ripple”.  Keep in mind that these were written over 30 years ago.  I plan as time permits to update each one to the current situation.  In fact that will be done as I write on the subjects below.

The topics and a brief explanation for each are:

TAXATION:  It should never be used as punishment to some and rewards to others.  It must be equitable to all.  No special circumstances for anyone.

JUDICIAL:  This is the biggest reason why a Votealution is needed.  It was intended for them to defend the Constitution and they, have not.  Another great problem with the court system is, they have become more interested in defending the wrong doers rights, than the good citizens needs for protection.

CRIME:  Our prisons are full and getting worse.  It seems to me that our legal system is sending out the wrong message.  We are told today that crime is society's  fault, for we did not provide the where with all for them not to commit crime.  Hog wash.  America can only remain free if the citizens exercise self control.

POLITICS:  As now practiced, it is a profession.  I see little difference between the Legislature and the Royalty of bygone days.   We need to find and elect Statesmen who understand the Constitution and its original intent.  I know the voters have re-elected the politicians.  However it has been a vote for the lesser of two evils for decades.  That leaves the voters and all citizens, with evil ones sitting in office.

MEDICAL:  There is not much that can be done officially in this field but I feel once the country is again practicing the servant leadership philosophy, this will correct itself.

WELFARE:  Should be reduced  to the necessities of life and not include the luxuries.  Only to the truly needy, not the able bodied lazy ones.

SOCIAL SECURITY:  Truly a bonsai scheme that would be illegal for anyone to operate, except for the government.  It must be reined in and gradually revised and eliminated.

EDUCATION:  Elementary education must be controlled by the local citizens and not from Washington, nor the State Capital.

CHURCHES:  They need to get back to working for GOD and not the government.  Serving the needy themselves instead of urging the government, to take their members money by force (now known as taxes) and doing what the Church should do in the name of GOD.  Is it any wonder that those on the receiving end of this charity; thank, vote and serve Washington, rather than GOD?

CLOSING THOUGHT:
