TOGETHER WE WILL TAKE BACK AMERICA

PLANK-1  Freedom:   We will assure maximum freedom to everyone with the realization that each individual's freedom ends where the other man's nose begins.  All citizens will be born with that right but will give up that right by not exercising self control.  If the individual refuses to control themselves; then society must.

PLANK-2  Taxation:  Will be reduced to the minimum that can maintain law and order and the government.  They will apply to only that amount earned which is over and above the minimal living standards.  They will be applied equitably according to the amount of wealth each individual has garnered from the system.  The majority of the citizens will be able to take home a much larger share of the wealth their efforts has created.

PLANK-3  Law:  It will be determined by a panel of level headed, honest citizens, who have common sense  and who are chosen by their neighbors.  The panel will be a check on our current run away legal system as determined by the courts.  It will serve the honest law abiding citizen rather than the criminal and all criminals will be made to reimburse their victims as well as the state.  This committee will determine if the court has overstepped its authority and put the law abiding citizens in danger.

PLANK-4  Control:  Federal control over the States, Sates control over the County and County Control over the Cities will be diminished to only that which is necessary for uniform assurance of health and safety.  No longer will the Higher Political entity tell the Lower one what it must do without providing the where with all to do it.

PLANK-5  Schools:  Control of the Schools will be returned to the communities in which they reside.  The local citizens will decide what is taught the children and how it will be taught.  They have the freedom to change their system, or move to one they do like, but do not have the right to tell other schools what they must do.

 PLANK-6  Citizenship:  Everyone who takes out citizenship papers and their children will learn the American language.  Until they do, they will not be able to vote, hold political office nor enjoy welfare from the government until they have earned it.  This is America not your home country and America owes you nothing, but we will welcome you with open arms and hearts; if you want to become one of us and do it legally.  Once you are assimilated into our society you will become known as American-Mexican or American-African etc.  

PLANK-7  Money:  This is one of the most difficult situations we currently have; for it is difficult to tell how the cyber money will be accepted and if so how stable it will be.  Perhaps one of you reading this who is more knowledgeable about the subject could, enlighten the rest of us.  I did believe in the gold standard and would like to see it work even yet.  However in light of this new technology I am not sure that it will work.  The one thing we will do is stop paying interest on our debt printed money and print it ourselves interest free.  See Money under ripple for the explanation.

PLANK-8  Welfare:  Our goal will be to support all those who are truly in need with a bare standard of living.  Luxuries will be cut out and particularly for those who are able to work but don't.  The truly helpless and old could be given some luxuries which are considered normal for today, such as a TV etc.  It is my hope that most of this will once again be absorbed by the Churches as it was centuries  ago.  While perhaps not perfect, I believe they would be better shepherds of our money than the Federal Government.  In addition I believe the cost of distributing the charity would be greatly reduced.  another advantage is, the money they use is donated money not taken money.

PLANK-9  Government:  Return most of the governmental control to the local units as it was in the beginning.  This will greatly reduce the cost of government and make it easier to observe and control.  While we still need the Federal level of Government for those things that effect all; such as Federal Highways, Federal Programs which benefit all, much of what the Federal Government does in Washington can be done better at the local level.  While this may cause the cost of our local governments to rise; it will be less than what is spent in Washington. With the added benefit that the money stays in the community which will increase the local economy.

PLANK-10 International Relations:  America will no longer meddle in any other nations business.  We will lead by example and help advice those who want to follow.  We will work towards self sufficiency within our own country and rely as little as possible on others for material or labor. If we are threatened from without, we will go to war to win and not to contain.  War is bad and to make believe that anyone gains by war is foolish.  We will take the monetary profit for some out of war.  Everyone in America will pay the full cost of it at the time the war is being waged; and not leave it for future generations to pay off.  If our fighting men are over there, we should restrict our life styles to the bare minimum and the money saved must not be spent on luxuries, but would be used to pay for the war.  Profits for companies would go back to the government to also help pay for that war.  I believe the number of wars will be greatly reduced, and we will again garner the envy of all the world when we stop trying to police the world according to our standards.
