Choosing Our Candidates
|

| We will be using the current voting demographics now in place. That
is, all states are divided into Counties and Counties are divided into Precincts.
Once we are organized in all precincts we have the power to control who is
elected into all offices regardless of whether it is at the Local, County,
State or National level.

| So the question arises, how will we choose our candidates. Under the
current two party system this is done for us from the top down.
We will accomplish this from the bottom up. Any member of a
neighborhood group can declare their willingness to hold any office,
including the presidency. Our most difficult part will be convincing
them that they should take office, knowing that it will be as a servant
leader and knowing that it will not be a career. With all the
neighborhood groups which has formed across the country, I feel sure that more than one will
step forward for every office open in the following election.
After talking with each and being sure they understand what is expected of
them, each group would pass one of those names on to their Neighborhood Area
Committee. They in turn would again interview all candidates and
choose the one whom they thought best to fill the office; and pass those names on to
the Precinct Area Committees. Likewise they would
interview the candidates they received and again choose from amongst them the name to
forward to the County Area Committee. Repeating these steps until
all offices at all levels have one candidate that the whole group can vote
for. In the event that no one steps up to volunteer for an open
office; it will be the responsibility of the committee at that level to find
one. Because we are not a party, there is no reason why a member,
can not be a precinct committee person for one of the registered parties.
At these meetings you will find people who have been turned off by their
State and National Party Committees. Most of these people would be eager to
step in. Be sure to interview them first and make sure they are aware
of the groups desires and their willingness to serve those desires, before
submitting their name.

| How long has it been since you have had the opportunity to vote for a truly patriotic statesman? I dare say I can not think of a one, when I have voted, in my entire lifetime. I have heard of a few that came close in other areas but none where I lived. I believe this method will give us a Statesman in nearly every office if not in fact every office. I ask you; would not this get the attention of all the current political parties both large and small? It would even attract attention from the entire world. | ||
