JUST A RIPPLE |

"Opener" This is the first of what I hope will be, many articles about the commonly accepted political life style in America today. The articles will compare today with what I feel our forefathers had in mind, at the time this great country was given its birth. I, in no way see myself as the only correct source of information, nor do I feel that there is only one way to preserve or restore, what was intended. It is my hope that these pebbles of thought will cause ripples, through out many a placid but reasoning mind. Thereby encouraging you and your neighbors, to spend some serious time, considering some alternatives to the way our government currently operates. Perhaps between all of us we can save this great country for our children, their children and yes the entire world. The main theme of these articles will be the enhancement of the common man, and his ability to control his or her, own life. The lifting of governmental restrictions, the reduction of taxation and the picking of our pocket by the rich and so called professional. I strongly believe that our youth of today, are facing a more dismal future than any generation, since the birth of this fine nation. If some drastic steps are not taken soon, the republic style of government will, go down in history as a failure. Perhaps you disagree with this statement, but just stop to think for a minute, of what this would mean to mankind, if our republic did fail; [and it already has, for now we are a socialistic democracy.] All of mankind would again be under a ruling class and not master of their own destiny. What a tragedy that would be. I believe strongly that a free society can solve any problems that may arise. The creative juices of the common man cease to flow only when, he is overly restricted by rules and regulations and cheated out of his just rewards. This is where we are today and the lifestyle for the common man is going down hill fast. This leads to apathy and the feeling that we can no longer control our own destiny. I hope to convince you the common man and woman that you not only can control your own destiny, but that of your children and grandchildren. By working together now we can turn things around in our time and help not only this great nation but all the peoples of the world. We must keep in mind that it has taken over 200 years, for our society to deteriorate into what we have today. So be patient dear friends if it is not corrected over night. Hopefully, for the first time in history we will have a no shots fired revolution. Which (to coin a word) will be, a "VOTEALUTION". This will be done at the polls, not on the front lines. I feel that no one has intentionally brought on these changes. But that certain circumstances required our government officials to act. Most if not all really felt they were doing what was needed at the time. This created so gradual a change that few if any, recognized what was happening to us. As long as our life style was progressing there was no need to worry. However now that we can see we are in trouble we need to take this hard look at where we were, where we are and where we are going. Most will easily determine that something has to change. If that is true, why not become a part of that change. The Founding Fathers of this great nation did a marvelous job, except for one feature. They failed to put an effective check and balance system, into the Judicial arm of our government. That makes it the only branch which has always been self controlled and self perpetrating. Now, most if not all branches of our government, are self perpetuating. There in lies the danger to our freedom. In the name of protection, they have bound us with many expensive rules and regulations. Instead of concentrating on punishing the few, they have attempted to control the many. In fact our lawyers of today work harder at protecting the criminal than they do at protecting the public. As I see today's legal system, it gives me the message that I can do whatever I wish and they will leave no stone unturned to protect me from authorities. As odd as it may sound, it appears that it is society's responsibility to keep you from doing wrong and if you succeed in doing wrong then it is our fault for not stopping you. You ask at this point. But what can one person do. Look again at the pyramid 1006 shown in Votealution and you will realize that it is possible. It is only impossible if we allow apathy or laziness to convince us otherwise. If I, as one today convince you tomorrow and we each convince one the next day etc. In only 30 days we will have enough votes to control all elections over the entire country. You say yes but one a day? OK even if we take a whole year to double the response, it is only 30 years and it is all done. Dream a little with me and you will see, what effect a Votealution would have on behalf of mankind, all over the world. Here in America we would wake up the morning after an election to find that everyone who was elected was some unknown who spent no money on campaigning, was not a public figure and most likely had never before held office. Those elected, will have been chosen by the voters, who sat around their kitchen table and chose them; because of their statesmanship and not because of what they had promised the voters. If the Republic form of government dies here in America, I fear it is dead for centuries for the whole world. If we can make it work here it will never die and the world will rush to join us.
