04-05-20 American Strength We must as a country become self sufficient as much as possible, as soon as possible. We all know that when we are dependent on anyone else; they have gained a degree of control over us. Once this is accomplished we will be free to advance our own lifestyles. Production in America has been greatly reduced and is vanishing fast. Stop to consider for a moment. What happens if those we are depending on for production decide to conquer us? Of course we like to think of us as the most powerful nation in the Universe, and that it can not happen. However we are only as powerful as our weakest link. At the moment that link is our dependency on others to supply production for our many needs and wants. Now when the balance of payments gets so great or when they decide to stop being used as a source of cheap labor; what do we do? Where would we then go to get what we need to survive, to say nothing of our need for weapons to combat an attach. America must become self sufficient, at least in the area of survival. Sure our standard of living will need to be curtailed a little but is that not better than complete surrender when our supplies are cut off. To be truly strong we must be self efficient. Has not this always been the case over the decades? Should we ignore what life has taught us? I will say again that a one world government with open borders sounds like an ideal life style. However until you can remove greed and selfishness from the individual man; that will never happen. In fact our life style of today, our capitalistic thinking and legal system all teaches us to grab all that we can and ignore what happens to others in the meantime. Now is not the time for a One World Government nor open borders. Do any of you feel that the citizens of America have any control over what happens in Washington? Until we have found a way to control Washington; it would be a big mistake to create and even larger and more remote governmental entity. That we would have to answer too and I might add support. |
